What if organisational structures supported our transition towards regenerative economies? What if the way we incorporated supported purpose and community and built financial resources for them?
This side event is hosted by Innrwrks on the 13th of september at 17:30 during Stockholm Impact Week 12-14th of September 2023 will showcase alternative organisational models and invite participants to explore deeper through dialogue.
The starting point for the event is a 3.5 year journey into the weeds of the nature of the corporation undertaken by the founders of Innrwrks Amit Paul and Nils von Heijne. The result is a purpose centred model focused on creating community, profit and value distribution that we call the Regenerative Community Organism or for short the RCO.
Companies and corporations are one of the main potential forces for supporting and driving the transformation towards a sustainable or regenerative world. Organisational models: how we structure, grow and fund our ventures is of increasing importance. In a world of increasing complexity where command-control models no longer works, supply chains and ventures need to organise collaboration in a deeper way. This seminar will address ecological approaches for corporations in the age of the poly- or metacrisis. How can we structure and support the transformation?
The RCO is only one example for how stakeholder focus, democratisation and evolving organisational structure that support different phases in the life cycle of companies can be addressed. It addresses the challenge for the purpose driven business oriented founder, the passionate activist that constantly lacks funding and the community weaver longing to realise their community’s potential.
These are not ideas in a vacuum, there is innovation happening all over the world in this field: Cooperatives, DAOs, DisCOs, Companizations, the Fair Shares Commons and ethical design of funds. We will visit a few of these during the event.
